The zodiac sign on the cusp of this astrology house is called the rising sign. It is the most important house cusp and the most sensitive in the horoscope. This astrology house describes our relationships with others.
This astrology house is associated with close personal relationships . It specifically deals with and describes the marriage partner and our attitude towards committed relationships. This house reveals what kind of partner we seek, or are attracted to.
This astrology house concerns all direct close personal relationships with others and reveals the nature of other people’s reactions to our own actions.

This astrology house deals with the individual’s base of operation with respect to society, rather than ones own personal sphere, ruled by it’s opposite (4th) house.
This astrology house deals with the carrying out of one’s responsibilities before the world and concerns professional and public reputation, honour or dishonour, career, and one’s relationship to political and business power structures.
This astrology house reveals how one rises above, or falls below, the social and economic station that one was born into, as indicated by the 4th house.
This astrology house relates to ambitions – how ambitious one is, and how ambitions are tackled and manifested. It also indicates whether an individual will incur favour or disfavour from those in authority. It concerns the kind of employers one has and the nature of one’s relationship with them.

This astrology house deals with the individual’s psychological health in relation to others, as well as the health and growth of society as a whole – as opposed to the individual health and service, revealed in this house’s polar opposite, the 6th.
This astrology house will show a great deal about the individual’s characteristic emotional responses and habit patterns. The 12th house rules the subconscious mind – the accumulation of unconscious memories ,emotional experiences and attitudes.
This astrology house will reveal any emotional blocks, addiction to unconscious habit patterns, and automatic responses that may not be suitable to a given situation. These patterns may be based on irrational, unconscious, pleasure-seeking or pain-avoiding responses.
